Sunday Roast

I love using my crock pot! Just throw a few things inside, let it cook all day (or all night) and then you have a meal that tastes like you spent the entire day cooking!

Late last night, I threw this rump roast in the crock pot so that we would have a meal ready and waiting for us when we got home from church. This morning our house smelled so good! This is quite possibly the best roast I've ever had!!!

This roast would go really well with mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Unfortunately I didn't have either on hand, but the couscous I made was a lovely compliment to it as well.

Sunday Roast

1 large beef roast or boneless rump roast
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 pkg. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Optional: 1 T. Montreal Steak Seasoning

Place roast in crock pot. Pour soup over the top. Sprinkle dry soup mix over the top. Add additional seasonings if desired. Cook on low for 10-12 hours.

  2. I'm so glad you liked it! You should try the pork chops next. They are just as easy and just as good!

  3. I'm making a roast for supper tomorrow but I'm going to start cooking it in the morning. If I put my crock pot on high how many hours would it take to be done?
