Easy Oreo Truffles

I wanted to make something festive for my hubby to take to work and share with his co-workers for Valentine's. Last week I bought some really cute Valentine sprinkles from Target. The first thing that came to mind (that wasn't on my blog yet) were Oreo Truffles! I've made these several times before and each time everyone rants and raves about how awesome they are. Hopefully his co-workers will enjoy them as well.

These would be a perfect treat to make for your honey this Valentine's Day!

Easy Oreo Truffles
Source: Kraft

1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. Oreo Cookies, finely crushed
2 pkg. (8 squares each) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended.

Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Place in freezer for 10-15 minutes to make them easier to dip. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with cookie crumbs or sprinkles.

Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

*These also freeze well for a month or two.
